In Baião, the Avessogrape variety reaches its best expression, and this wine is an excellent reflection of that quality. Light straw yellow in colour, the wine has striking aromas of stone fruit and flowers on the nose, harmoniously combined with subtle notes from ageing in oak barrels, which add great complexity. On the palate, the wine is enveloping, with well-integrated acidity that provides excellent harmony. The smooth texture culminates in a delicate but persistent finish.
